Happy Solstice 2013

It is the shortest day of the year and a time for celebration of light and promise of spring.  We are celebrating by make a special dinner and finishing up our cookies.  The kiddos were more than helpful with it all, they love to cook and stir and generally be kitchen helpers.  We had dinner by candlelight in the dark and toasted to the coming new year.
