Friday, January 21st was our first baby celebration! We decided that a traditional baby shower wasn't for us. I (Rachel) think it is completely unfair that fathers are left our of the celebrations surrounding the impending birth of their child. A dad is just as important as a mom and we wanted that reflected in our we celebrated our babies. We were at Pete and Tia's house with a number of our college/RA friends for a celebration. We had a lot to celebrate - Alex and Cate's soon-to-be arrival and Mike's 32nd birthday. We had a fabulous time, wonderful gifts, great food and conversation - just what we wanted.
